Bill Davenport

BILL DAVENPORT, age 81 of Little Rock, Ark., passed away at Arkansas Hospice on Feb. 24, 2011. He was born Jan. 12, 1930 in Centerville, Ark. to the late Herman and Reba Cain Davenport. He was a member of the Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark. Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Davenport; daughter, Karen Payne and son, Dane Davenport of Little Rock, and daughter, Marilyn Davenport of Denver, Colo.; granddaughter Lauren Payne of Jonesboro, Ark. and grandson, Jacob Davenport of Benton, Ark.; brother, Charles Davenport of Conroe, Texas. Graveside services will be Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, 1 p.m. at the Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be Monday, 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the Little Rock Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 1223 S. Garfield, Little Rock, Ark., 72204. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle, Ark.
