John Preston Holmes

John Preston Holmes, age 84, of Hazen, died Feb. 25, 2011 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart. He was retired from Riceland Foods, a member of the Center Point Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joy Faye Holmes; son, Dennis (Teresa) Holmes; three daughters, Beverly (Gene) Kelly, Pam (Allen) Watson and Jacqueline (Don) Campbell; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Bobby Harper and sister, Betty Grabnik. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen.
