Mary Lynn Baxter

Mary Lynn Baxter, age 81, of Bryant, Ark. was cured of cancer on Feb. 25, 2011. She spent that day surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 28, 1930 in Butterfield, Ark. to the late Noah L. Railey and Emma H. Beason Railey. Mary Lynn was a homemaker, a fantastic cook, and she was known for her Christmas tree cake. She was a wonderful mother-in-law, a friend to all that knew her and a very gracious lady. Mary Lynn retired from Razor Sharp Carwash. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church for 40 years, a former Sunday School teacher and a former church-school secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Baxter; great grandson, William Justin Baxter; brothers, J.D. and Harold Railey; and sister, Barbara Reynolds. She is survived by sons, Lynn (Nancy) Baxter of Hot Springs, Randy (Karen) Baxter of Springfield, Missouri, Scott (Tanya) Baxter of Benton; one daughter, Lori Everett (Ronnie) of Benton; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800 officiated by Reverend Lynn Baxter. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Center Fork Baptist Church Building Fund, 1101 So.
