John L. Bradshaw

John L. Bradshaw, 92, of Texarkana passed away January 21, 2011. He was born July 23, 1918 in Benton, Arkansas to the late James Monroe and Lizzie (Wilkinson) Bradshaw. Mr. Bradshaw was a US Navy Veteran, serving in SeaBees in WWII, worked in the oil field as a mechanic, and loved hunting and fishing. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda "Elise" (Pate) Bradshaw; son, Otis Lincoln Bradshaw; two brothers, Fred Bradshaw, Lloyd Bradshaw; three sisters, Lorene Bradshaw, Dorothy "Dot" Bradshaw Hall Attaway and Faye Bradshaw Jordon; and great-grandson, Randy Eugene Struck. Survivors include three sons, John H. Bradshaw and wife, Barbara J. of Middletown, R.I., Colin K. Bradshaw and wife, Nohemi of Granbury, Texas, and Russell C. Bradshaw of Lewisville, Texas; one daughter, Judy Struck and husband, Harold of Odessa, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 10 a.m.. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Old Rosemont Cemetery.
