Bennie Roach

Bennie C. Roach, 94, of Hot Springs, entered into rest on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Hot Springs. She was born Nov. 8, 1916 in Henryetta, Okla., the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret Campbell. She was a retired bookkeeper for Southern Cigar and Candy Company, a former employee of Coker Drug, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was the widow of the late JB Roach. Bennie was preceded in death by two sisters, Lee C. Eldredge and Geneva Smith; two brothers, Roger and Raymond Campbell. Survivors include one son, David Roach of Little Rock; caregiver, Valecia Adair of Hot Springs; and nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Roselawn Cemetery, Fort Smith, officiated by Mike Eldredge. Viewing will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 and family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith.
