Anita Jeanne Carter went to be with our Lord on July 4 , 2011. She is survived by her husband, Daniel A. Carter whom she married on November 25, 1983 and three children Alena (Joshua) McNew of Hot Springs Village, Keith Carter of Little Rock, Jeremy Carter of Searcy, five grandchildren Nicholas, Davis, Adelynn and Scotland McNew all of Hot Springs Village and Kylie Carter of Little Rock, her mother Carolyn Webster of Jessieville, two brothers C.A. Garrett III of Boise, Idaho and Douglas (Jolynda) Webster of Milton, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother. Anita was born in Boise, Idaho on January 1, 1961, the daughter of Clarence Anson II and Carolyn Jameson Garrett. She was a graduate of UALR in Nursing and through her skills and compassion touched the lives of countless people through her work. She was a vibrant, energetic, and infectiously happy person who was richly loved by friends and family alike. Anita was a registered nurse and had worked as a cardiac, diabetic and oncology nurse for many years. Gardening, kayaking, fishing, working with flowers and animals were a few of her many passions. The memory of Anita will be celebrated on Saturday, July 9 , 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Village Bible Church in Hot Springs Village with the Rev. Dr. Mark D. Cain officiating. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Burial will be in the Rock Springs-Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Jessieville, Arkansas following services at the church.
