Geraldine Derden

GERALDINE DERDEN, 86, of Gravel Ridge, Ark., went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2011. She was born in Little Rock on Jan. 28, 1925 to John and Erma Golden. Ms. Derden was preceded in death by her parents, in addition to Wylie Golden, Ira Golden, Edeline Golden, Nadine Garner and Delbert P. Golden. She is survived by her son, John Derden (Debra); daughter, Patricia Derden; grandchildren Jay McElyea (Kathy), Gregg Barnes (Melinda), Roger Coburn (Julie), Kirsten Bordelon (Knox); and nine great-grandchildren, Jon and Sam Coburn, Chloe and Scarlet Bordelon, Haydn and Devin McElyea, Andrew and Jason Barnes, Julia McKee. The family would like to express appreciation to Helen Ayers, Geraldine's caregiver and those at Arkansas Hospice, Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2011 Roller Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 JFK Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark., (501-791-7400).
