Mrs. Frances M. Bryan of Brinkley, widow of Mr. Vernon Bryan died Saturday in Brinkley. She was a member and Elder of the Brinkley First Presbyterian Church and a former employee of Wagner Electric Corp. Mrs. Bryan was a lifetime resident of Brinkley, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star serving as Past Matron of Riceland Chapter 543 OES of Brinkley. She also served as the Grand Representative to the State of Wisconsin in the years of 1961 thru 1963. We remember her as a former Chapter Mom for the Brinkley DeMolay program and helping establish the Brinkley High School Band soon after WWII. Frances was a former President of the Brinkley Band Boosters Club, a score keeper for the Brinkley Little League and operated the concession stand at Brinkley High School Football Games. Her hobbies were hunting, fishing, handy crafts, football fan and collector of Coca Cola Memorabelia. She was a charter member of the Arkansas and Tri-State Chapters Coca Cola Collectors Club and a member of the National Coca Cola Collectors Club. Frances was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the West Side of 50 Club.

Frances is survived by children, Vernon Wreason (Sandra) Bryan, Wess Harman (Janet) Bryan, Francis Murrie "Frankie" (Cheryl) Bryan, Jane (Al) Waggoner, sister, Rosa Almond and grandchildren, Noel (Katheryn) Bryan, Tanya (Remus) Zaharescu, Sean (Sherry) Gattis, Nicole (Grant) Stewart, Lee Ann (Ryan) Hackley, Joshua (Rebecca) Bryan, Melanie (Todd) Wade, Mike (Candy) Waggoner, David (Linda) Waggoner, great-grandchildren, Marisa Gattis, Wrease and Mica Zaharescu, Harley and Aukai Bryan, Jessica and Allie Wade, J.D. and Casey Waggoner and Wendy Murillo.

Visitation with family and friends will be 5-8 p.m., Wednesday at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley. Services are 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery in Brinkley.
