Mary Frances Langford

Mary Frances Johnson Cearley Langford, 71, of Kingsland, departed her earthly home for her heavenly home on Wednesday June 15, 2011. She was devoted to her family and cherished each one of them. She loved to travel and her favorite place to visit was Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park, CO. She retired from Fordyce Picture Frame Company in 1998 after more than 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingsland for over 55 years where she taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School as well as sang in the choir. She was the daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Elizabeth Jarrett Johnson. She was preceded in death her husband, Herman Hope Cearley. She is survived by her husband, Glynn Langford, of Kingsland; a son, Mike Cearley and wife Jeannie of Maumelle; a daughter, Debbie Cearley of Kingsland; grandsons Tim Cearley of Maumelle and Jeff Cearley of Maumelle; brothers, Leon Johnson and wife Jo Ann of Fordyce and James Johnson and wife Guylene of Heber Springs; brother-in-law, Jimmy Cearley of Fordyce; nephews, Joel Johnson of Searcy, Jem Johnson of Heber Springs, and Gregg Cearley and wife Tina of Fordyce; niece, Gail Cearley of Texarkana, Texas; stepchildren, Toni Marsh and husband Curtis of Olympia, Wash. and Jim Langford and wife Dawn of Kingsland; step-granddaughters, Doreen Wolford and husband Scotty of Franklin, Nicole Langford of Salem, Ore., Jaymie Langford of Rison, Leslie Langford of Rison and Madison McMillian of Kingsland; step-grandsons Tyler Simms and Nathan Hart of Kingsland. She also leaves behind a host of family and friends that knew her as Frances and a special group of young children that knew her lovingly and affectionately as Miss Frances. Her family would like to thank her special caregivers: Renee Hall, Lee Ann Huntley, Deborah Wylie as well as her church family. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce. Burial will be in Kingsland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Kingsland, the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of choice. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
