Mamie Wagner Glover

Mamie Wagner Glover, 76, of Gravelly, Ark., formerly of Benton, Ark., died Friday, June 24, at Benton, Ark. She was born March 7, 1935, in Nola, Ark. to Lester and Ala Mae Jones Wagner. Mamie was a member of the 1952 Fourche Valley graduating class. She worked for American Airlines, Sears, Magic Mart/Sterling Stores before retiring from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. She was a member of the Nola Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billie Joe Glover; her parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Robbie and Roy Fickle; and her nephew, Mark Wagner. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Krista Glover of Benton; a granddaughter, Kacy Platt and husband, Franklin, of Fort Worth, Texas; a grandson, Christopher Glover of Benton, Ark.; brother and sister-in-law, J.B. and Margaret Wagner of Gravelly; and many nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to her niece, Katie Fickle, for helping take care of Aunt Mamie over the last several years. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Nola Church of Christ with Brother Leonard Fuson officiating. Interment will be at Parks Cemetery in Nola, Ark. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville.
