Thomas Earl Mallard

Thomas Earl "Tom" Mallard, 81, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away June 25, 2011 in Mayflower, Arkansas. Mr. Mallard was born April 11, 1930 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Roy and Sadie Mallard. He was a farmer and a member of the Lexa Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 26 years, Beulah Louise Mallard Graham; and one son, Thomas Howard "Duck" Mallard. He is survived by five daughters, Diane Kimbrough (Steve) of Mayflower, Nancy Hughes of Mayflower, Shirley Ranke of Salt Lake City, Utah, Anita Sellers (Keith) of Russellville, Arkansas, and Rhonda Cross of Guy, Arkansas; two sons, Randy Mallard (Laurie) of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Joe Mallard of Mayflower; fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services for Thomas Earl "Tom" Mallard will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Roller-Citizens Chapel. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Lexa, Arkansas. The Reverend David Crouch will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday at Roller-Citizens. Pallbearers are Terry Mallard, Doug Mallard, David Mallard, Michael Black, Josh Mallard and Steven Kimbrough. Honorary pallbearers are Brent Rankin, Jim Mallard and Amos Mallard.
