Richard "David" Spikes Jr.

In loving memory of Richard "David" Spikes Jr., of Lakewood, Colo. who died March 18, 2011 after a long illness in The Denver Hospice, Denver, Colo. He was born in Little Rock, Ark. on September 25, 1970. David always opened his home and heart to anyone in the need of a job, food or shelter. He was an accomplished musician at a young age and enjoyed playing his guitars, keyboards and drums. Music always filled his home, along with the musicians. David fe1l in love with St. Marks, Fla. several years ago; where he requested his ashes to be released. He is survived by his wife: Alice McCarthy-Spikes, Lakewood, Colo.; his mother: Beverly Spikes, Mayflower, Ark.; his daughter: Candice Dae Spikes & his grandchildren: Maddox & Alyssa Golleher, Perryville, Ark.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry & Ike Labor, Mayflower, Ark.; Teri & Greg Oliger, Vilonia, Ark.; two nieces, Cortney Branson & Calie Domokos; two nephews, Ryan & Mason Oliger; one great-niece, Kaitlin; three great-nephews, Hunter, Brady and Logan and also many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father: Richard David Spikes Sr. and his step-father: Timothy Spikes.
