Atsuko "Kobe" Prunty

Atsuko "Kobe" Prunty, 82, a resident of the Greenhouse at Legacy Village in Bentonville, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born January 28, 1929 in Tokyo, Japan. She was a floral designer for Tipton and Hurst in Little Rock for many years and a longtime dedicated member of Friendship International. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Bomer and husband Chuck of Little Rock and Kathy Thomason and husband Steve of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Devlon Bomer, Jane Thomason and Jill Thomason. A memorial service will be held Saturday April 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Cathedral, 310 West 17th Street in Little Rock with The Rev. Ed Wills Jr., officiating.
