Asako Kukkola

We have lost our loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Asako Kukkola was called home to Jesus on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Her honest, sincere, intentional love for life will be forever passed down to others through her husband, Allan, son David, and grandchildren, Morgan and Bailey. Although she will be sorely missed, we do not mourn as those without hope. We will see her again in Heaven! Asako was born in Sakhalin Japan on June 20, 1937. She and Allan were married at the Tokyo American Embassy in 1967. In 1973 she proudly earned her American citizenship. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136 with Reverend Mark McDonald and Reverend Charles Watt officiating.
