Ronald Vernon Branscum

Ronald Vernon Branscum, age 59 of Salado died Monday, May 2, 2011 in a Little Rock hospital. He was born November 3, 1951 in Batesville, Arkansas to Earnest "Dutch" and Nelda E. Branscum. He was an employee of Zila in Batesville and a member of the Salado Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Branscum and a sister, Mary Kathryn Branscum. He is survived by two sons, Ronald Alexander Branscum of the home, Phillip Andrew Branscum and wife Heidi of Newark, mother, Nelda E. Branscum of Salado and mother of his sons, Judy Branscum of Rosie and many other relatives and friends. Funeral servicers will be Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Salado Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Crowson officiating. Burial will follow in the Egner Cemetery located near Salado with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m Pallbearers will be Ronnie Goyne, Mike Sutterfield, Gary Young, Sterlin Dalby, Rollie Bock and Scott Fulbright.
