Georgia Hoekstra

GEORGIA HOEKSTRA, 91, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 6, 2011. She was born Dec. 5, 1919 in Conway to the late George and Maggie (Johnson) Patrick. Mrs. Hoekstra had worked for Timex and Kellwood Corporation and she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Theodore Hoekstra; and four brothers. Her survivors are her daughter, Georgia Rast; two grandsons, Ronald David and James Theodore; eight great-grandchildren, Sean, Laura, Amanda, James II, Michelle, Charles, Amber and Stephen; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2011 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209 (501) 455-5800. Mrs. Hoekstra loved embroidery, quilting gardening and canning. She loved her family unconditionally and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
