Lillian Henrietta Taylor

Lillian Henrietta Taylor, 91, of Beebe died Thursday, May 5, 2011. She was born June 9, 1919 in Emory, S.D. to the late Henry J. and Anna Borchard Terveen. Mrs. Taylor was a home maker and a member of Old Austin Baptist Church. She was a substitute teacher while living in Texas and a substitute mail carrier while living in California. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, B. F. Taylor; four siblings, Alma Brown, Esther Wheeldryar, Cora Holland and Lawrence Terveen. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, James Taylor of Beebe,; her foster-daughter, Cindy McKenna of New Hampton, Iowa; as well as five grandchildren, Eugene Ray Taylor, Mark Shane Taylor, Amanda Cansler, Lillian Matteson and Misty Rathbone; and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Old Austin Baptist Church with Brother Mark Martin officiating.
