Eddith Mae Bailey Thomas, age 92 of Evening Shade Arkansas passed away Sunday May 8, 2011 at the National Park Medical Center of Hot Springs. She was born July 27, l918 in Tuckerman Arkansas and married to Sam Thomas of Evening Shade on May l6, l936. She was the daughter of Charles President Bailey and Victoria Martha Sexton. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Thomas, eleven brothers and sisters William, Charles, Samuel, Arthur, Walter, Herbert & her beloved twin brother, Edmond, four sisters Lillian, Vera, Ida and Ruby and one beloved great grandson Kameron (Kamo) Hale of Hot Springs. She leaves behind two daughters, Zoe Dean Reichardt of Batesville, and Charlotte Thomas Hale and husband Gordon of Arkadelphia, four grandchildren, Leslie Reichardt and wife Darlene of Batesville, Dr. Kevin Hale and wife Kimberly Beth of Hot Springs, Randall "Randy" Reichardt and wife Michelle of Batesville and Kimberly Hale Payne and husband John of Benton, nine great-grandchildren, Justin Reichardt, Bailey Bruce, Kelsey Hale, Austin Hale, Cameron Hale, Kayla Payne, Kolby Payne and Kyle Payne and a host of relatives and special friends all over the United States. Funeral services will begin Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Bear Creek Methodist Church in Evening Shade with Rev. John Walls and Rev. Roger Hook officiating. Burial will follow in the Bear Creek Cemetery located at Evening Shade with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City. Visitation will begin Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home in Cave City. Pallbearers are Randy Reichardt, Kevin Hale, Paul Humbrecht, Jerry Humbrecht, Rick Qualls and J.C. Qualls. Honorary pallbearers are the Men of Bear Creek Methodist Church.
