Sandra Lucille Younger

Sandra Lucille Younger, 68, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at her home. She was born June 24, 1942, in Stuttgart to Vern L. and Rosa M. Deleo Roth. She attended Holy Rosary Catholic School and Stuttgart Public Schools and retired from GTE with 25 years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Jake Roth; step-son, Rickey H. Younger; and a sister who died in infancy. Survivors are her husband of 37 years, Lonnie B. Younger; two sons, Neil Barger and Patrick Barger; step-daughter, Georgina Younger; two brothers, Chris Roth and Don Roth; three sisters, Sharon Miller, Rita Hope and Lucy Engler; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral mass is 11 a.m., Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial following in Bayou Meto Cemetery. Visitation is 5-6:30 p.m., Friday at Turpin Funeral Home with rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. The family suggests memorials to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
