Lea H. Swan

LEA HERRINGTON SWAN, age 84, of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away peacefully on May 12th, 2011 at her home. She was born on April 4th, 1927 in Crossett, Ark. to her parents, Louis and Era Herrington. Lea was the oldest of five children and was resident of Jacksonville, Ark. for 30 years. Lea will be remembered by her son John Darby and his wife Sharon of Jacksonville, Ark.; daughter Cheryl Standing and her husband Mike of Conway, Ark. She is also survived by three brothers, Louis F. Herrington of Lumberton, Miss., Elwood G. Herrington of Pineville, La. and Gerald R. Herrington of Meridian, Miss.; two sisters, Joan Hebert of Monroe, La. and Pam Herrington of Hot Springs, Ark. and a grandson Gary Darby of West Monroe, La. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Swan. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Ark. 72117.
