Marion Moore

Marion Moore, age 83, of Austin, formerly of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on May 12, 2011. She was a member of West Rock Baptist Church. Marion was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Vernon L. "Denny" Moore; a sister, Christine Helms; parents, Charles A. and Willie Brown; niece Nancy Trexler, and great-great-nephew, Jacob Hammonds. She is survived by one sister, Eddie Pharris; a nephew, Larry Pharris, Sr., and his wife, Sheroll, all of Austin; one niece, Cynthia Popp of Las Vegas, Nevada; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and cherished her dearly. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at West Rock Baptist Church, with Dr. Frank Worley officiating.
