William Wilson Honeycutt Sr.

William Wilson Honeycutt Sr., age 75, of Alexander died Friday, May 13, 2011. He was born Aug. 11, 1935 in Portland, Ark.. William was retired from the US Coast Guard after serving 25 years, and retired from Falcon Jet after 17 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William W. and Willie Ruth Honeycutt; his first wife, Mary Ann Honeycutt; half brother, Randy Gardner Hussey; grandparents, Bill and Lona Gardner. Survivors, wife, Opal Ward Honeycutt, Alexander; son, William W. Honeycutt, Anchorage, Alaska; step-sons, Greg Smith, Little Rock, Christopher Smith, Benton; daughter, Carolyn R. Peavey, Alexander; grandchildren, Paul and Amanda Peavey and Robyn Peavey, great-grandchildren, Luke Peavey, Mason Taylor, and Katlyn Burchfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bryant Hospice Center. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Pine Crest Cemetery. Minister will be Bro. Kim Hammer.
