Jimmie L. Cagle

Jimmie L. Cagle, 69, of Sherwood, passed away May 16, 2011. She was a retired Pulaski County Special School District bus driver; and was a respected businesswoman in the wholesale bread and snack industry for many years. Jimmy was involved with youth sports in central Arkansas as coach, umpire and referee for over 30 years. She was an avid outdoors person who like to fish and camp with her family and friends. Jimmie was loved by her family and will be missed. Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband Don "Coach" Cagle Sr., her daughter Terry Lynn Cagle, and her son Jimmy Wayne Cagle. She is survived by her son Don Cagle Jr., his wife, Joy of Sherwood, her son Stephen Cagle Sr., and wife Leah of Ratcliff, Ark., her daughter Karen Cagle of Vilonia, Ark., 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. There will be no funeral or graveside service. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Saturday May 21, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. in the Chalice Hall building of First Christian Church of Sherwood, located at 2803 E. Kiehl Ave., Sherwood, Ark. 72120. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Saint Jude's Children Hospital of Memphis, Tennessee.
