Clemell Lyles

Clemell Lyles was born on October 10, 1929 and died May 17, 2011 at Methodist Central University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Clemell received her education at Drew County Training School and participated in various culinary classes. She was a member of Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church in Monticello, Ark. She was employed by Monticello School District and Employment Security Division for numerous years, prior to moving to Memphis, Tenn. She leaves to cherish daughter, Barbara Mitchell and grandson Colby Mitchell Exum of Memphis, Tenn., brothers Eugene and David Lyles of Compton, Calif., adopted sister Classie Green of Pine Bluff, Ark. and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewing at 12-1 p.m. prior to funeral service on Saturday May 21, 2011, 2 p.m. at Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church at 523 E. Trotter, Monticello, Ark.
