Margaret Antoinette Cain Campbell

MARGARET ANTOINETTE CAIN CAMPBELL passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011. She was born May 9, 1927 in Charlotte, N.C. to Robert Lee and Marguerite Bondurant Cain. She grew up in Little Rock, Ark. and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Tennessee in 1949, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She later obtained a Masters Degree in Counseling from Louisiana Tech University. She married James Donald Campbell in 1954 and they had four children, Cathy, Carol, Jim, and Martha. In addition to Little Rock, they lived for a time in El Dorado and Pine Bluff, as well as Yazoo City, Miss., and in Amite, La. Margaret Ane was a talented artist and calligrapher, and enjoyed life in Amite, where, in his retirement, her husband was priest of the Church of the Incarnation Episcopalian Church. She loved the Lord, her family, and her Anglican Fellowship of Prayer. Don and Margaret Ane moved back to Little Rock in 2010 to be near their daughter, Martha, who was at her side as she passed into eternal life. Mrs. Campbell is survived by her husband of 56 years, Don; her four children; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
