Kenneth F. Scroggins

Kenneth F. Scroggins, 81, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was born March 21, 1930, in Stuttgart to Frank and Elizabeth Miller Scroggins. He spent his business career in farming. He was a member of Almyra United Methodist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Vern Scroggins and Marvin Scroggins; and twin great-grandsons, Jack Clark and Nate Clark. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 63 years, Ethel Engelkes Scroggins; four children, Roger Scroggins of Stuttgart, Becky Fortune (Dennis) of Stuttgart, Kathy Raabe (Oliver) of Almyra and Harriett Sheeks (Danny) of Stuttgart; six grandchildren, Ekko Greenhill (Brian), Fara Long (David), Tania Clark (Richard), Rory Cline (Chris), Bailey Simpson and Garrett Sheeks; four great-grandchildren, Spencer Greenhill, Will Henry Clark, Charlie Cline and Oliver Cline. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Thomas Bormann, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. preceding the service.
