Billy Tackett

Billy N. Tackett, age 77, of Lonsdale, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011. He was born March 2, 1934 in Traskwood, Arkansas. Mr. Tackett was a retired boilermaker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Amma Tackett, brothers, Derwin and Dural Jean Tackett. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vivian Tackett; son, Eddie Tackett and wife, Tami, daughter, Elaine Lashlee, husband, David, granddaughters, Amanda Fugitt and husband, Jamie, Laura Clift and husband, Justin, Tonya Lashlee and great grandchildren, Maddie Clift, Ava Fugitt, Porter Fugitt and Brady Clift, sisters, Mary Lou Jackson and husband, Mark, Linda Statler and husband Buddy and Ann Cotten and husband, Pete, a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Friday with burial at Ten Mile Cemetery.
