Noah Mitch Avant

Noah "Mitch" Avant, 58, of Hot Springs passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2011 at his home. He was born February 27, 1953 in Hayti, Missouri to the late, Lola Phillips Avant and James Avant. Mitch was a passionate Cubs fan; a guitar player and an avid sports fan. He was a brilliant and compassionate man who touched the hearts of everyone. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Clarence "Tim" Avant and grandparents, Noah Mitchell and Ovie Phillips. Survivors include one son, Dustin (Jolie) Avant; one daughter, Melanie Avant; two brothers, Jim Avant and John Avant; two sisters; Deborah Avant and Cathy Sager; many cousins, aunts, uncles; two special brothers and sisters, Michael Phillips, Randy Phillips and Calva ; two special aunts, Nurnet Bader; Billie Cox; he was a second father to Alicia Knott; and his beloved dogs, Kiki and Buddy.
