Gladys Crisp

Gladys Crisp, 95, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 31, 2011 in Helena. Gladys was born April 25, 1916 at Connell's Point, Arkansas to the late John Jerome and Annie Hall Mason. She was a member of the Cypert Church of Christ. She worked at Bobbie Brooks and owned Crisp Grocery. Ms. Crisp is survived by two daughters, Barbara Salley (Michael) of Maumelle, Arkansas and Brenda Woodyard (Mike) of Marvell, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Bartlett of Marvell, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Crisp; one son, Kenneth Crisp; five sisters, Ethelene Mummell, Elizabeth Cranford, Louise Anderson, Dolly Mason, and Dorothy Anderson. Funeral services for Gladys Crisp will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Cypert Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Smalley Cemetery near Marvell. Brother Mark Spencer will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Marvell.
