Loria Clifton Grice

Loria Clifton Grice, age 86, a Veteran of World War II, passed away on Novembver 2, 2011. He was born on October 3, 1925 in Banks, Arkansas to the late Hudie and Beulah Grice. He is survived by two daughters, Gloria Jean Bryant and her husband Bob Bryant of Nacogdoches, Texas; Deborah Slayton Temple and her husband Scott Temple of Kingsland, Ark.; two grandchildren, Timothy Bryant (Leela) of Nacogdoches, Texas; Lori Smith (Darren Smith deceased) of Victoria, Texas; four great-grandgrandchildren, Danielle and Sam Smith and Molly and Jackson Bryant; one sister, Sue Lisemby Brown (Don) of Star City, Ark. and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mr. Grice was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Thelma Mosley Grice, his parents, one brother; C.B. Grice of New Edinburg and one sister, Lurlene Wolfe of Warren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday November 5, 2011 at Benton Funeral Home and officiated by Brother Rick Bolin and Rev. Rodney Grice. Burial will follow at the New Edinburg Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday night at Benton Funeral Home. The family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
