Jewell Maxine Alderman

JEWELL MAXINE ALDERMAN, 76, of North Little Rock was born Sept. 13, 1935 in Des Arc, Ark. to parents George and Cleo Cox and passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 48 years, Lowell Alderman of North Little Rock and her children, Virginia R. Russ (Susie) and her husband Patrick W. Russ of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Donald E. Alderman of North Little Rock and Andrea L. Vander Lugt and her husband, Roger A. Vander Lugt of Sherwood; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as one special niece Christine Prouty. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother and four sisters. Mrs. Alderman was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church where she was active teaching in the ladies Sunday School. A funeral service will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Levy on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. with a visitation to be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
