Thelma Willie Mayo Taylor, 87, of White Hall, Arkansas, died Sunday, November 13, 2011, at her home. She was born June 16, 1924, in Atoka, Oklahoma, to Lawson Dallas and Willie Jones Mayo. Mrs. Taylor was reared and educated in Waurika, Oklahoma. She had worked at Walmart before retiring in 1989 as a sales clerk. She was a Baptist and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waysee D. Taylor; sons, Jimmy Waysee Taylor, Larry Ray Taylor; parents; brothers, Harold Ray Mayo, Henry Dallas Mayo, Lawson Carroll Mayo, Clarence Theodore Mayo; a sister, Bessie Marie Mayo; two granddaughters, Tina Michelle Taylor and Angela Renee Taylor. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Fowler of White Hall; sons, Daniel Taylor (Betty) of Alexander, Kenny Taylor (Linda) of Tyler, Texas, Mike Taylor (Missy) of Bee Branch, Jerry Taylor (Marianne) of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Robinson's. The family will be the home of Mrs. Thelma Taylor in White Hall. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Bill Fitzhugh officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
