Mary Montez Bennett

Mary Montez Bennett, 89, of Scott passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011. Mary was born on April 16, 1922 in Lepanto, Ark to the late Sam and Pearl Willis Tolbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bennett. Mary was a member of Landmark Baptist Church of Rose City. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by one son, Virgil Bennett (Alice) of Sherwood; one daughter, Selenia M. Boyett (Danny) of Scott; grandchildren, Jeff Bennett ( Kathy), Pam Tubbs (Phillip), Dr. Chris Boyett (Meleah) and Phillip Boyett; great-grandchildren, Aaron Tubbs, Josh Bennett, Matthew Bennett, Clay, Justin, Bethany, Brunson and Ben Boyett; three sisters, Francis Cunningham, Betty Hodges, Arva Pearl Owens; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel (501-791-7400). Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery.
