Charles Thomas Long

Charles Thomas Long, age 77, of Houston, Ark. died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 at Riverview Manor in Morrilton, Ark. He was born March 6, 1934 in Paron. Charles was retired from the Little Rock School District. He was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Lorine Hendrix Long. Survivors, wife, Barbara Morris Long, Houston, Ark.; daughters, Charlene George, Abilene, Texas; Leola Gene Long, Roswell, N.M., Roberta Long, Roswell, N.M.; sons, Robert Long, Little Rock, Richard Long, Saline County; Leon Long, Saline County; granddaughters, Christina Bohanan, Abilene, Texas; Chasidy Distasio, Iowa; brother, Jerry Long, Garland County; step-son, Leon Buckner, Roswell, N.M. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Fowler Cemetery in Paron. Minister will be Rev. Arthur Blood. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Ashby's.
