Aubrey Price Atkinson

Aubrey Price Atkinson, age 100, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. He was born January 14, 1911, in Houston, Arkansas, a son of Elbert P. Atkinson and Lillie Rouse Atkinson. He was a member of Little Rock West Assembly of God, retired psychiatric technician, and a World War II Navy Veteran. Survivors include his wife Reba Jones Atkinson of Little Rock; two sons, Larry Atkinson of Searcy and Rommie Atkinson of Alexander; one sister, Madeline Horton of Morrilton; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, five sisters, and a great-granddaughter Kynlei Atkinson. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Little Rock West Assembly of God. Burial will be at May Cemetery, near Houston, by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
