Janet Young Jayroe

Mrs. Janet Young Jayroe, age 65, of Palestine, Arkansas, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Jayroe was born February 28, 1946 in Palestine. She was the daughter of Standish Miles Young and Jessalyn Woodfin Young. She had lived in Palestine all of her life and was a graduate of Palestine High School in 1964. Mrs. Jayroe was a housewife and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Palestine and volunteered for the St. Francis County Farm Bureau Women's Committee and was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women's Mission. Mrs. Jayroe married Billy Jayroe in 1965 and he survives her along with three daughters, ViVi Hall and husband Ron of Palestine, Tammy Holman and husband Randall of Palestine and Susan Hoskyn and husband Dusty of Scott, Ark She is also survived by six grandchildren, Brooke and Barrett Hall, Kayley and Gunner Holman and Jessalyn and Holdyn Hoskyn. Funeral services will be held at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Palestine on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at 2 p.m., with burial to follow at Bell Cemetery. The pallbearers will be church Elders, Larry Jayroe, Glenn Gore, Doris Shafer, Lisa Aldridge, Burton Hudspeth, Darrell Martin and Brent Howton.
