Keri Suzanne Calhoun, 40, of Cabot died Monday, October 3, 2011 in Arlington, Texas. She was born January 24, 1971 in Little Rock to Ted and Bobbie Porbeck Yotter. Keri spent much of her life as a wife and a mother but also worked as a Para Professional at the Cabot Public Schools. She has always been involved with helping special needs students and volunteered at Special Olympics events in Little Rock and Texas. During her 11 years fighting cancer, she was an inspiration to all who knew her especially to other cancer patients. Keri was a member of Cabot First United Methodist Church. She survived by her husband, Dan Calhoun of Cabot; three children, Zach Calhoun, Will Calhoun and Lauren Calhoun; parents, Ted and Bobbie Yotter of Maumelle; sister, Kristen Leigh Foster of Little Rock. Keri was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and LaDelle Porbeck and George and Eloise Yotter. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Cabot with Reverend Beth Waldrup officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvania Cemetery near Cabot. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Ian Thompson, Colten Tripp, Blane Ferguson, Josh Sorrell, Brandon and Camron Boatwright.
