Nova Christeen Ennis

Nova Christeen Ennis, 86, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Sept. 16, 2011, at Westwood Health and Rehab, Springdale, Ark. Born Oct. 16, 1924, in Carney, Okla., she was the daughter of Pete Small and Bertha Cole Small. She was a lifetime resident of Siloam Springs and was a caregiver to the home-bound elderly. She married Irven Ennis in Gentry, Ark., in 1941. Nova was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Siloam Springs. She loved her church, her family, and taking care of others. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Irven Ennis; three brothers, Elmer Small, Clifford Small, and Andrew Small; and two sisters, Alvena Colwell, and Florence Harlander. Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Arnold of Gentry, Ark.; one son, Bob Lee Ennis and wife Suzanne of Fayetteville, Ark.; three grandsons, Terry Wise of Gravette, Ark., Bill Arnold of Gentry, Ark., and Bob G. Ennis of Sugarland, Texas; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Beck of Gentry, and Zona Swank of Galesburg, Ill. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Gary Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, Ark. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
