Joyce Ann Lemons

Joyce Ann Lemons, 68, of Keo, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 21st, 2011. She was born on February 20th, 1943 in England, Arkansas to parents: Elmo Evans and Eva Nell Minton. Joyce was a member of the Keo United Methodist Church. She was the Financial Secretary and Treasurer for seven years. She was also the church secretary, youth director and a member of Keo Women of the Church. Joyce was a member and the past National President of the National Association of Women in Construction for thirty-seven years. She retired from the State of Arkansas September 7th, 2011. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of forty-one years: Jerrell Lemons who was the love of her life. She is survived by her uncle: Brooks Minton, Sr. (Tiny) of England; cousins: Brooks Minton, Jr. (Judy) of England, Robert Wallace (Judy) of Cabot, Greg Minton (Robin) of England; her father-in-law Alfred Lemons of Tucker; two brothers-in-law: Donald Lemons (Vivian) of England and Danny Lemons (Janice) of Florida; Sisters-in-law: Wanda Dorrell of North Little Rock, Betty McCall (Bob) of Wright, and Kathy Lemons of Keo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and God children Niki (Rushing) Gray of Sherwood and Phil Rushing of Springdale along with her pets and traveling companions: Lucy and Chita. A celebration of life will be held at Roller England Funeral Home, (501) 842-3939, Saturday, September 24th, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Charles Perry officiating.
