Phillip "Phil" Hamilton

Phillip "Phil" Hamilton, 58, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012. A visitation to honor Phil will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, Mo. 64055. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kan. Phil was born on June 21, 1953. His parents were Arthur and Alma Hamilton from Wichita, Kan. Phil was a kind, caring person who had a heart of gold and loved his family very much. He leaves behind his wife of 35 years, Janet Hamilton; daughter, Virginia (Jenny) Bassett, mother-in-law, Jeanine Jones; father-in-law, Richard Jones; brother-in-law, Allen Jones; sister-in-law, Janet Kay Jones; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
