Perry Lee Rhoden

Perry Lee Rhoden, 50, of the Hardin Community, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at UAMS where he was a patient at The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. He was born September 25, 1961, in Pine Bluff, to Richard Olen and Henrietta Domon Rhoden. He attended White Hall schools. Perry enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish and work in the garden. He was a member of the Masons Lodge 69 of Pine Bluff. Perry was retired from the Army Corps of Engineers. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Mona Maxwell Rhoden, whom he married on July 13, 1990, in Pine Bluff; two sons, Corbet (Jessica) Rhoden and Allen Rhoden both of Hardin; two brothers, Ricky (Ramona) Rhoden of White Hall and his twin Terry (Diane) Rhoden of Hensley; a sister Kathy (Johnny) Foster of White Hall and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the UAMS Foundation, 4301 W. Markham St. #716, Little Rock, Ark. 72205-7199. Please note on the check or online form that it is a memorial for Perry Rhoden to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, or the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University, Little Rock, Ark. 72207, or to the Donor's choice of charities. Visitation will be Friday, 6 to 8 PM at Robinson's. Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Russell Rhoden officiating. Masonic Funeral Rites will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are Timmy Maxwell, Pug Stratton, Rex Davis, David Lynch, Doug Eggburn and Darrell Brakebill.
