Carolyn Roberts Klein

Carolyn Roberts Klein ended her courageous four year battle with brain cancer April 10, 2012 at her residence in Texarkana, Texas. She was born in De Queen, Arkansas and raised in Lockesburg, Arkansas. After graduation from Lockesburg High School where she was on the basketball team, she attended Henderson State University. She was retired from Glenwood Medical Clinic and Northeast Texas Surgical Center. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon. Carolyn is survived by her husband Cordell Klein, Md.; two sons and one daughter in-law, Jay and Lisa Janes of Maumelle, Arkansas and Nathan Janes of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one sister, Laura Ann Griffin of Texarkana, Arkansas and her brother and sister in-law, Jerry and Patsy Roberts of Texarkana, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Presley Janes and several nieces and other relatives. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday, April 13, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Arnold, Rev. Susan Arnold and Rev. Dianne Brown officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. The family will receive friends at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Blvd. on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a favorite charity.
