GEORGIANA FAYE (BLAIR) WISEMAN, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and, above all, teacher, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She was born Aug. 2, 1931 in St. Louis, Mo. to Olive C. and Claude Corbet Blair. After attending college at Ouachita Baptist University, she completed her teaching degree in speech and drama at Washington University in St. Louis. She was licensed to teach in both Texas and Arkansas. She spent her young adult life in Texarkana, Ark. where she graduated from high school and met and married John R. Wiseman of Texarkana, Texas. They relocated to central Arkansas, ultimately making their home of over 50 years in the city of North Little Rock. She taught classes at the Little Rock Air Force Base, Levy Elementary School, Ridgeroad Junior High School, and Northeast Senior High School. Her teaching career began in 1952 and spanned over 45 years. She will be remembered fondly by the legions of students that she taught to read, write, drive, act, and experience life without boundaries. Georgiana was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church for over 50 years. After retirement, she and John dabbled in antiques and, most recently, she was a dedicated volunteer with the Patrick Henry Hays Senior Citizens Center. Mrs. Wiseman was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, John Robert Wiseman.
