Billy Cochran, age 68, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, April 14, 2012. He was born on Sept. 2, 1943, at Hardy, the son of John Delbert Cochran and Ora Barbara Armstrong Cochran. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, William Robert Cochran, Edgar Kenneth Cochran, David Lee Cochran, James Clifford Cochran and John Franklin Cochran; and two sisters, Wilma Pauline Stroud and Dorothy Ann Cochran. He was Baptist in his faith and received his education in both Hardy and Ash Flat. He was employed for over 40 years with Copper Communities in Hardy, Bentonville and Hot Springs Village. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Delbert E. and Tabatha Cochran of Paragould; his granddaughter, Leslie Roberts of Hot Springs; his great-grandson, Barron A. Scheri of Hot Springs; two step-grandchildren, Bradley Hause and Jackson Hause; three sisters, Margaret "Fran" Cranmer of Rogers, Margie May Jones of Brooklyn and Sarah Jane Horton, and her husband, Neal, of Ash Flat; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held Thursday, 5 p.m. until 7p.m., at Tri-County Funeral Home, Highland. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012, in the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel, Highland with interment in Highland Cemetery.Local arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
