Wanda Jean Staton

Wanda Jean Davis Staton, 80, of Benton, passed away Saturday April 14, 2012. Wanda was a vibrant woman that loved her church, Park Place Baptist Church in Bryant, Ark., and singing. She enjoyed antiques and collectibles. One of her favorite things to do was eat out with her husband Joe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pate and Undine Davis, and two brothers, Sonny Davis and Gerry Davis. She is survived by her husband Joe H. Staton, three children, Karen Benson of Bella Vista, Ark., John Staton of Little Rock, Ark., and Ron Staton of Benton, Ark. Her siblings: Marguerite Stophel, Jim Davis, Danny Davis and Linda Lambert all of Pine Bluff. She also leaves four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Terry Davis, Brian Lambert, Kenneth Staton, Jon Staton, Rodney Pearson and Ricky Staton. Brad Lambert will serve as Honorary Pallbearer. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark. 72002 (501)455-1067. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning, April 17, 2012, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, with interment following at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark.
