Elizabeth Irene Dye was born in Paragould, Arkansas, March 28, 1924, and passed away April 19, 2012, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Edgar J Dye, whom she married after a three week courtship on December 8, 1942. Also by her parents, James Otto Blount and Maple Irene Davis Blount and a sister, Ruth Stewart. Survivors include three daughters, Janet (Lynn) Wall of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, Linda (Don) West of Benton, Arkansas and Michelle Elkins of White Hall, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Lisa Weaver, David Wall, Jeff West, Jeremy West, Chad Elkins and Lee Elkins, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves one sister, Etta Bicknell of Carmichael, Calif. and two brothers, James D. Blount of Tucson, Arizona and Gordon Blount of Palm Springs, California. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:16. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with the funeral following at 2 p.m. with Mr. Don McClain, Mr. Jeff Asher and Mr. Keith Sharp officiating.
