Alice Ann Engels

Alice Ann Engels, 69, a resident of Redfield, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at her home. Born December 4, 1942, in Redding, California, she was a daughter of Ralph and Bertha Smith Barton. Mrs. Engels was reared and received her early education in Pensacola, Florida. Alice Ann Barton married James Engels on April 29, 1990, in Florida. Mrs. Engels was a homemaker who loved her husband, her family, and her friends. Mrs. Engels served thirteen months in the United States Marine Corps. Mrs. Engels was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, James Engels of Redfield; one daughter, Theresa Waldrop of Foley, Alabama; two granddaughters, Carla Jones and Crystal Waldrop, both of Foley; one great-grandson, Paul Dolihite of Foley. The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012, at Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend James Watson officiating.
