James M. Warner Jr., 82, of Fairfield Bay, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012. He was an accounting manager with Borden Company and retired after 37 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of Presbyterian Kirk of the Hills. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marilyn Warner; three children, Carla Rutherford and husband Tommy of North Little Rock, Susan Brewer and husband Jim of Monticello, and Jay Warner and wife Kelly of Bigelow; two brothers, George Warner of Little Rock and Russell Warner of Clinton, South Carolina; two sisters, Martha Chaney of Higden and Sylvia Fischer of Mabelvale; and five grandchildren, Jacqueline Warner, Robert Warner, Doug Brewer, Lauren Brewer, and Chris Rutherford. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Warner Sr. and Prudence Warner, and by two sisters, Mittie Cuthbertson and Dorothy Joyner. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock. Memorial services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Presbyterian Kirk of the Hills, 250 Dave Creek Parkway in Fairfield Bay, with Rev. Dr. Robert W. Hadley officiating.
