Mildred Louise Landers

MILDRED LOUISE LANDERS, 100, went to be with her Heavenly Father and family on Dec. 1, 2012. She was born on May 11, 1912, in rural Faulkner County, Ark. She lived the majority of her life in Conway. Mildred was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a beloved grandmother. Until her health started to fail, she enjoyed being a busy homemaker and excellent cook. She definitely met the qualifications of Proverbs 31:10-31, plus being a prayer warrior for her family. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Joanne Dunn (Luia) of Little Rock and Jean Warren of North Little Rock; son, Fred Landers (Wanda) of Conway; brother, Dick Linn of Dallas, Texas; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; special niece, Carolyn; and host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Landers; parents, Richard and Nora Linn; brother, Carl Linn; sister, Ruth Holt; and grandson, Michael Dunn. At her request, Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway with interment to follow. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon's International, Nashville, Tenn.; Arkansas Hospice, North Little Rock, Ark.; or Faulkner County Day School, Conway, Ark.
