Patrick Gardner, 50, of Mayflower, Ark., died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in Arkansas. Born March 17, 1962 in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of Helen (Fendl) Gardner of Mifflinville and the late James Gardner. A graduate of DelCampo High School in Carmichael, Calif., he went on to serve as an E-6 First Class in the United States Navy, retiring on October 31, 1998. Most recently, he held the position of Avionics Technician with Northrop Grumman from October, 1998 until 2012.

Preceding him in death is his brother, Michael Gardner. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three children: Brandy and Megan Gardner, both of Dallas, Ga., and James Gardner of Mandeville, La.; and two sisters: Diana, wife of Jimmy Ferguson of Mayflower, Ark., and Sandra, wife of Ray Sterner of Mifflinville.

A private family viewing and funeral service will be held at the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Chestnut St., Berwick, with the Rev. John R. Koons of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Berwick, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut St., Berwick. For additional information or to send online condolences, please visit
